Feedback for development team
Detailed review of new consortium site and issue priorities
Minutes
The meeting started with an in-camera discussion of several controls in development.
New consortium site and issue priorities:
- (on 24) High contrast is native option in Windows and Mac. (should adapt to OS mode). Suggests zoom stylesheet – linearizes.
- (on 31) Does the system filter when content is pasted? It is more important to allow for accessible authoring..need for checker deemed low).
- (on 31) Content templates – how to effectively present content – populate with temporary content. (instantiate template). GCould be a good consortium project.
- (on 32) Accesskeys is (low) except for editor where – need to make people aware. People may expect some limited universal ones 1,2,3. Won’t be widely used unless uniform.
- (on 33) Fieldsets and legends. (high) Uneven implementation – nesting = weird results. Don’t go too crazy. Don’t want nested. (for all groupings of checkboxes and radio buttons). Should look at opportunities for dropdown menus. (easier to label)
