  • NZ: I did not find any consistent terminology related terminology
  • JG: The current terminology on the website is correct
  • JG editing rules on the website for PDF tags
  • HR: Will people understand with tags, will people use one tag
  • HR: Some people may want to reserve H1 for major sections
  • CB: I explain in my training that people need to think of the navigation structure, like a newsletter, the section using H2
  • CB: In acrobat you can only work on a page at a time
  • CB: I have been reserving the H1 for the title and use H2
  • NZ: I think you are on the right track
  • NZ: We advise people to use H1 as the title for the overall document
  • HR: Similar to HTML
  • JG: Is there situation where you would want more than one
  • MR: When there are two documents in one PDF document
  • JG: People can append several PDF documents together
  • MR: I have seen that done
  • JG: That would blow our rule for matching
  • NZ: I did have to do some recoding for appended documents
  • CB: Why were they putting it together, to create one file, or if you are building
  • MR: Sometimes they are not one document
  • Updated the H1 titling rule
  • HR: What happens when documents are combined to the title in the properties section
  • NZ: I am not sure
  • MR: I am checking on that, the title of the first document is retained
  • MR: The file name goes into the title bar
  • HR: What happens when these documents have a table of contents
  • HR: Does a reader know when document B starts?
  • MR: It is all one document
  • HR: Can H1 be used to also separate combined documents
  • JG: Should the H1 be the first tag in a document?
  • MR: This could be problematic, it is not the usual case
  • MR: If you have brochure or an image with ALT text
  • JG: I think we need to modify the tests to automatic and manual
  • CB: I think that makes sense
